Mini Split Heat Pumps
Ductless mini split systems certainly aren’t new to the HVAC game, but they’re finally making an impact on the U.S. market. Once considered an add-on solution for garage apartments, bonus rooms, and guest houses, mini splits are now offered among other whole-home solutions, providing all the flexibility, energy efficiency, and affordability you should expect of ductless technology.
Radiant Floor Heating

Radiant floor heating is also an energy-efficient solution for the modern home, helping to reduce utility bills by giving the HVAC system a break.
Smart Technology
Homeowners can now view and even operate their home thermostats from their phones. Smartphone applications are being utilized for a variety of technologies, from programmable thermostats to ventilation systems. As we become more connected to our homes in real time, homeowners are seeing an immediate boost in energy efficiency.
HVAC Efficiency Standards
New HVAC efficiency standards were put in place last year, resulting in new products hitting the market that are better than ever. If you’ve been needing to upgrade your HVAC system, 2016 is a great time to do it, as minimum SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings have increased in most states. A few have even bumped up EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings for central air conditioners. All this means is that manufacturers are now required to produce better, more energy-efficient models, which is great news for homeowners.
